York Hub is championing female-led startups

York Hub is thrilled to offer two female-led start-ups the incredible opportunity to access our beautiful coworking space completely FREE for 12 months, for up to three days a week.

In the UK, startup businesses are disproportionately founded by men, with women launching fewer businesses and securing less funding. While female-led start ups are growing, they still represent a significant minority, and face widely recognised unique challenges including potential gender bias in both funding and support.

We are offering successful applicants an enjoyable and vibrant coworking space in the heart of York City Centre. Please feel free to look around our website for full details of our beautiful workspace, browse our gallery of social events and find us on Facebook and Instagram.

Successful applicants will also be offered up to 4 hours of FREE coaching from Anne-Marie Crowther – Coach, Trainer, Facilitator, Connector with 20 years experience of working with female founders, freelancers and social entrepreneurs and who is now, quite literally, working underthecarobtrees.com.

York Hub members are an inclusive and extremely friendly group, many collaborate and have formed good friendships. It is important that the successful applicants demonstrate that they would benefit from joining us and it’s equally important, that the successful applicants would complement our existing group of members.

Applications are invited from female-led start up businesses, regardless of sector who have been trading for no longer than 24 months. Deadline for applications is 31st August 2025. If you have any questions or would like any further information please contact us.  We would be delighted to receive your application.

*Deadline for this offer has now passed and we are delighted to have welcomed two more female-led businesses at York Hub.
